AR Maglock Kingpin PAL System V2
AR Maglock Kingpin PAL System V2
AR-15 ONLY
We have learned so much from our customers and the result of that feedback is V2 of the KLVR Co KingPin PAL System.
We have changed the material to be more robust and to strengthen the PAL Detent. This took some time to be able to work through balance of manufacturing and minimizing processes but increase its strength. NOTE: Some light gunsmithing may be required for proper function.
The KLVR Co KingPin PAL is now compatible with Daniel Defense M4V7's. We didn't know that although they look like a mil spec lower one little bump out caused incompatibility with V1. We also didn't realize how many of these rifles were out there so we needed to address this. The new bends accommodate this but DO NOT change compatibility with other milspec lowers.
We also did a relief cut to clear the ejection port door so it will no longer be annoying to have to navigate the PAL when field stripping or assembling your rifle. This should've been a "no duh" moment with V1 but we were too excited to get the product to you guys.
With that we introduce the KLVR Co KingPin PAL V2 and we thank our customers for helping us develop it.
The Kingpin PAL system only comes with the Lever Arm that installs onto your existing AR Maglock and Kingpin equipped rifle.
If you need an AR Maglock with Kingpin choose the "Add AR Maglock Gen 2 With Black Kingpin" option.
If you are converting from the Hellfighter to the AR Maglock system you may need a bolt catch if you dont have one. Return to our Fixed Magazine Products and add a bolt catch to your cart.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Make sure you are using the entire AR Maglock Gen 2 or Gen 4 system. This includes their Kingpin rear takedown pin and fixed mag system.
- Make sure your system isn't mixed and matched with any Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter products or ANY other rear takedown pin
- Please make sure you don't have any ambidextrous controls such as Ambi Bolt Release. Although some have modified their AR Maglock to work with ambidextrous controls it will not work with the PAL system. In most cases Ambi safeties will work with the PAL
- The Kingpin PAL is designed to work with standard MILSPEC lowers and uppers. We cannot guarantee function with Billet lowers and uppers or mixes of the two.
INSTALLATION
Some minor gunsmithing may be required for function of the AR Maglock and Gen 2 with KingPin and Kingpin PAL. Installing your Kingpin PAL only requires removing your detent and detent spring. This means you will have to remove your castle nut and back plate to do so. Depending on your lower it is possible to install the PAL system without removing the AR Maglock otherwise you will also have to uninstall your AR Maglock and reinstall once the PAL is in place.
DISCLAIMER:
KLVR AND ITS PRODUCTS ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH AR MAGLOCK
PAL SYSTEMS ARE NOT COMPLIANCE DEVICES. THEY ONLY ASSIST IN THE USE OF THE FIXED MAG COMPLIANCE DEVICE ALREADY INSTALLED ON YOUR RIFLE. INSTALLATION OF THE PAL SYSTEM BY ITSELF DOES NOT MAKE A RIFLE FIXED MAG COMPLIANT.
WHEN USING ANY FIXED MAG DEVICE IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE USER UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO INSURE THAT THE RECEIVERS ARE CLOSED PRIOR TO PRESSING THE TRIGGER.

INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR YOUR KINGPIN PAL
1. Treat Every Firearm as if It Is Loaded
2. Always Keep the Muzzle Pointed in a Safe Direction
3. Be Sure of Your Target and Aware of What Is Beyond
4. Keep Your Finger Outside of the Trigger Guard Until You Are Ready to Shoot
Please make sure firearm is unloaded and barrel and chamber are clear of any live ammunition and loaded magazines.
Before proceeding we suggest that you consult a licensed gunsmith for installation.

INSTALLING YOUR KINGPIN PAL
- First ensure that your Kingpin moves freely with the upper receiver on. Cerakote, Wedges and set screws such as Aero M4 that tighten the tolerances of your receivers work against a smooth operating Kingpin.
- You will need to remove your rear takedown pin detent and spring
- Remove upper receiver from lower and prepare all parts as shown in image

STEP 1
On most milspec lower receivers you can insert the Kingpin PAL under the AR MAGLOCK as shown in image. Insert all the way to the 90 degree bend.
If you cannot insert the arm loosen your AR Maglock slightly until you're able to do so and then retighten your Maglock.

STEP 2
Align the arm with the rear takedown pin hole as shown in image
Reinstall your upper receiver

STEP 3
With upper receiver installed insert your Kingpin into the receiver and orient the release channel of the Kingpin with the small detent in the PAL arm as shown

STEP 4
Install the Kingpin as normal by rotating it into the locking position.
Compression of the Kingpin spring may make it a little difficult to turn.
Apply pressure to the Kingpin as needed and hold the PAL arm as close to the receiver as possible.

STEP 5
Ensure the release channel of the Kingpin is facing forward as shown in the image.
Your Kingpin PAL is now installed.
Insert a magazine and test for function.
To uninstall and disassemble your firearm reverse steps above.
