JAN 1, 2026 ONLINE SALES LAW GOES INTO EFFECT

AB1263 Online Parts Ban Effective January 1st, 2026

What do we know?

This upcoming law will impact nearly everyone involved in online firearm accessory purchases. Although the full regulations have yet to be released, the bill’s language suggests it will significantly change how we can conduct sales.

It will likely require us to verify customer identity, address, and age at the point of purchase, as well as upon delivery. We ship exclusively via USPS Priority Mail and this adult signature verification as with most carriers is for 21 and older and not the States requirement of 18 and older. This means most shipping sources are not able to allow us to comply with this new law.

The California DOJ has yet to clarify what qualifies as a firearm accessory, but it’s reasonable to assume that many products we sell could be included, as they are attachable to firearms.

We understand how strongly the 2A community feels about this, and we believe it will affect all legal firearm owners in California as well as retailers that ship to California. Does this mean you can no longer purchase our products? Most likely not, since they’re available through some local gun stores.

Please watch Reno May’s video below for more details and guidance on how to navigate purchasing firearms and accessories in this evolving legal landscape.

Thank you for your support. We hope to see this law overturned and we will keep you updated.
